WAUSEON – Karleigh Sonnenberg scored off a throw-in with 3:38 left in overtime as Napoleon stunned Wauseon 1-0.
The Indians outshot Napoleon 8-0 and had four corner kicks in the first half but was unable to crack the scoreboard.

Bryan 10 Defiance 1
BRYAN – The Lady Bears exploded for 10 ten goals, five coming from Kailee Thiel, as they earned their first trip to districts since 2019 with a 10-1 win.
Ava Zimmerman added two goals for Bryan, who has now won 14 matches in a row.
The Bears will face either St. Marys Memorial or Van Wert in the district semifinals on October 26 at Elida.

PIONEER – North Central knocked off Fayette for the third time this season to earn a spot in the sectional finals.
Macie Gendron fronted North Central with 20 assists and six kills in the straight set victory.

The Eagles travel to Hilltop on Thursday for their sectional final match versus BBC champion Hilltop.
The Cadets won both meetings with North Central during the regular season.

MONTPELIER – The Locos outlasted Edon in the opening set 28-26 on their way to a three-set win in the sectional semifinals.
Emily Maniseng delivered 10 kills for Montpelier, Lyla Mahan posted 13 digs, and Jessi Bumb registered 22 assists.

Up next for Montpelier is a trip to Hicksville on Thursday to square off with the top seeded Lady Aces (18-4) in the sectional finals.

STRYKER – Ayersville rallied after dropping the first set to pull out wins in the next three to push the Pilots through to the sectional finals.
Emma Fulk led the Panthers with 13 kills on 67/69 hitting for 13 kills, Sage Woolace racked up 41 digs, and Kaitlyn Myers dealt 16 assists.
Ayersville will battle Pettisville, who had a bye, at Hicksville on Thursday for a berth in the districts.

Ayersville defeated Pettisville in four sets back on September 12.
