A recent high-speed chase led police from Fayette into Michigan. The chase began on Monday, September 2nd at 9:09 p.m. The vehicle in question was a Black Lincoln 4-door and possessed fictitious plates.

The stop began at the 100 Block of East Main Street after noticing a traffic violation. The unknown suspect vehicle then fled and led police into Morenci where police there also began to chase the suspect.

The vehicle then returned to Ohio, going through Lyons, before once again returning to Michigan. The pursuit was then terminated just a mile or so South of the Lenawee County Airport near Adrian, Michigan due to safety concerns. The case is still under investigation.
