(March 31st, 2015) – ANTWERP: While they didn’t have the numbers to compete as a unit in the meet at Antwerp, several individuals performed admirably for the Cadets.

Sam Shilling had a strong showing in hurdling events. He claimed third place on the 110 meter hurdles and second in the 300 meter hurdles. Shilling also finished third in the long jump.

Sam wasn’t the only Shilling to have success in the meet. Joe Shilling competed in the 400 meter run. He took third place in the event.

The Hilltop 400 meter relay team finished in second place. The 4X100 meter squad was comprised of Caiden Miller, Scott Goodnight, Austin Schaffner, and Chase Masters. In the individual 100 meter run, Riley McCain earned a third place finish.

Again, the small size of the Cadet team prevented them from having a real chance at victory. They scored just 16 points for the meet.
