The Hilltop High School Proudly presented their 2024 Spring Musical this past weekend. This year’s musical was “Shrek”, which followed much of the storyline from the beloved movie of 2001.

The musical was held on Friday/Saturday, February 23rd and 24th at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 25th at 7:00 p.m. inside the Hilltop High School. Due to illness, a slight change to the cast lineup was announced during the Friday showing.

Included in the program for audience members was a message to the cast and crew from Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Ward. “Putting this show together has been a blast from start to finish. Every student in this cast has grown as a performer throughout this process.”

“I am excited to see months of hard work finally come to fruition. I want to give a special shout-out to our seniors in this production, Marissa Bennett, Kris Hansen, Julia Rodriguez, Aiden Terrill, Dylan Siebenaler, and Savanah Westfall for all of their work and leadership behind the scenes.”

“Now it is time to simply enjoy the fruits of your labor and have three awesome shows! Thank you to the administration for your support throughout the show and for making this possible.”

“Thank you to the music boosters for providing meals and keeping us sane throughout this last week.”
