Historic Reflection: 1916 – Chesterfield School

December 20, 2024Updated:December 20, 2024No Comments1 Min Read

The above picture was taken of the Chesterfield School on its opening day back on October 5th, 1916. It was the second centralized school in Fulton County and graduated students until 1965 following the creation of the Evergreen School District. The building was used as an elementary and middle school through 1982 and was demolished in 2023. Thank you to the Chesterfield Township for use of the photo.
