On Sunday, November 26th at 6:30 p.m., the Village of Lyons hosted their third annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Dunbar-Ingall Park.

This event is a beloved tradition in the community and attracts residents, businesses, and organizations throughout the village.

What makes this ceremony so unique is that the park has multiple trees, each decorated by different members of the community.

The decorations range from classic ornaments to more modern designs, each adding its own distinctive touch.

As the clock struck 6:30 p.m., the switch was flipped and the trees were illuminated, filling the park with a warm and festive glow.

The atmosphere was joyful as residents young and old came to enjoy the beautiful display of holiday spirit.

To make the event even more special, hot chocolate and cookies were provided for everyone in attendance. It was a great way for people to stay warm and mingle with their neighbors while enjoying the holiday season.

Overall, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Lyons was a huge success and an excellent example of how a community coming together can create a wonderful event for all to enjoy.
