Archbold, OH – Enjoy an afternoon of inspiring music at the annual Gospel Music Concert on Sunday, June 8 at Sauder Village. During the afternoon concert, the sounds of beautiful gospel music will fill the air as Hoosier Harmony, Sojourner Quartet and pianist Jim Stewart take the stage at 4:00 p.m. in Founder’s Hall.

Appearing for his 26th performance at Sauder Village, pianist Jim Stewart will be back to share his musical talents on the piano. Opening the concert at 3:30 p.m., Jim will entertain the crowd with both contemporary songs of praise and traditional hymns. Jim currently performs with the Messengers of Pettisville and has opened for groups like Greater Vision, Nelons, Crossway and The Greenes.
The afternoon concert will begin at 4:00 p.m. with performances by Hoosier Harmony and Sojourner Quartet, the featured groups for the event this year. The Hoosier Harmony Quartet was formed in 2003 and are recognized for their fresh and exciting approach to southern gospel quartet music. Since that time, Hoosier Harmony has continued to proclaim the gospel to congregations and events throughout the Midwest. Guests love the “old songs” often shared by this southern gospel quartet. Also performing this year is the Sojourner Quartet – a Christian music ministry based in Findlay, Ohio. Sojourner Quartet began in 1991 as a contemporary Christian group, writing many of their own songs and performing across the country. In 1998 the group went solely southern gospel.As their ministry grew, they shared the stage with many of today’s top southern gospel groups including The Booth Brothers, The Hoppers, The Isaacs, Ivan Parker, The Crabb Family, The Tally Trio, Triumphant Quartet and many more. The afternoon gospel concert is included with admission to Historic Sauder Village. This award-winning destination offers plenty for guests to see and do while visiting historic homes, farms, gardens and community shops.
