Host Pettisville Blackbirds Defend Home Court; Turn Back North Central Eagles

PETTISVILLE: February 4, 2014 – Pettisville played host to the North Central Eagles on February 4, clipping the visiting Eagles 48-42 to move to 8-8 on the year and remain in the lead in the BBC at 6-1.

Leading the way for Pettisville on the night was Jeremy Mann and Tate Kauffman who each hit for 12 in the game, while Korben Rychener joined the duo in double figures with 10. Eli King added 7 In the game; Austin Dykstra chipped in 5 and Noah Miller rounded out the points on the night for the Blackbirds.

For the Eagles in the loss, Branden Turner paced the Eagles with 14 along with teammate Clayton Ferguson’s 10 in the contest. Dylan Hutchison, Josh Sawyer and Chase Legacy dropped in 5 and Jordan Reeves rounded out the points on the board for North central with 3. With the loss, North Central falls to 2-4 in the BBC and sits at 2-14 on the year.
