(Movie Industry Veteran With Local Ties)

James M. “Jim” Pike Jr., age 89, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, at Majestic Care in Bryan. Jim worked in the movie and TV industries for all the major studios in craft services and as a set man. He was an avid reader.

James M. Pike Jr. was born July 15, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of James M. and Sarah H. (Rucker) Pike Sr. Jim married Alexandria A. “Alice” LoSacco on April 4, 1959, in North Hollywood, California. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2009.

Surviving Jim are two sons, James M. Pike III of Valley Village, Calif., and John Pike of Bryan; five nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a sister, Dorothy Ann Ester.


Private burial will be held at Shiffler Cemetery, where Jim will be interred next to his wife, Alice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Williams County Public Library. Condolences may be sent and the online register signed at www.krillfuneralservice.com.
