(Wauseon Resident)

James Percy Waldron, age 79, of Wauseon, passed away in his home on October 31, 2024. Jim worked as a machine repair technician for Jeep for 36 years.

Jim was born on July 24, 1945, in Wauseon, to the late Howard and Rosene (Burkholder) Waldron.

He graduated from Chesterfield High School in 1963. On December 19, 1969, he married the love of his life, Leola “Lee” (Baer), and she survives. Jim and Lee were married for almost 55 years. Jim was an avid bowler, bowling on many teams throughout his life.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. He also enjoyed cars, mowing the yard, and the outdoors in general. In his free time, he was a tinkerer, often using his skills to create fun experiences and memories for his grandchildren through fort building and various other things.

Jim is survived by his wife, Lee; son, Jerry Stevens of Archbold; daughter, Pamela Marckel of Toledo; daughter, Jean Mancuso of Toronto; son, Tom Moore or Tecumseh, MI; grandchildren, Zachary Stevens, Lucas Stevens, Dane Mancuso, Dante Mancuso, Derek Marckel, Dakota (Nhung Doan) Mancuso, Dalton Mancuso, and Darby Stevens; and great-grandchildren, Stallone, Charlotte, and James. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Peggy Bender and Deborah Meyer, and brother, Jerry Waldron.

Visitation for Jim will take place on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, from 10am to 12pm. A funeral service will take place after visitation, at 12pm, with Celebrant Adam Grisier officiating. Burial will follow at the Winameg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Camp Lurecrest, NC, to help with hurricane relief, or the American Lung Association.

Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.grisierfh.com. The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home of Wauseon is honored to serve the Waldron family.
