BOYS BASKETBALL

VARSITY

Wauseon 36 Bowling Green 34

Wauseon battled back from a 16-12 deficit at halftime by outscoring the Bobcats 24-18 in the second half to get the non-league win. Jonas Tester paced the Indians with 12 points, all in the second half.

Edgerton 37 Evergreen 31


Corey Everetts hit two triples in the fourth quarter as Edgerton used a 12-4 advantage in the final stanza to hand Evergreen (9-1) their first loss of the season. Noah Landel dropped in a game-high 18 points to pace Edgerton (1-2) and Everetts finished with 11. Eli Keifer topped the Vikings with 10 points.

Archbold 39 Eastwood 28

The Bluestreaks led 16-10 at halftime on their way to a 39-28 win at Eastwood. Alex Roth tallied 10 points to lead the Archbold (5-3) offense.

Archbold 62 Wayne Trace 42

Archbold recovered after trailing 12-8 early by taking a 26-21 halftime lead in route to a 62-42 win. Kylie Sauder and Karsyn Hostetler each had 13 points to lead a balanced Bluestreak attack. Leah McQuade added 12 while Harley Phillips had 10 for Archbold, who is now 5-6 on the season.

Delta 62 Evergreen 46

Delta’s Brooklyn Wymer was 10/13 shooting and finished with 20 points to lead all scorers as Delta picked up a 62-46 win over Evergreen in a non-league contest. Reagan Rouleau was next for Delta (7-3) with 12 and Khloe Weber added 11. Jocelyn Schuster and Jordan Lumbrezer led the Evergreen attack with 11 points each.

Montpelier 64 Edgerton 40

Ariel Page registered a game-high 22 points for the Locos in a 64-40 win at home over Edgerton. Three other Montpelier (6-1) players joined Page in double figures led by Chelsea McCord with 15, Emily Fritsch had 13, and Jessi Bumb added 12. Edgerton (1-6) was led offensively by Addie Cape who had 11.
