GIRLS BASKETBALL

VARSITY

Bryan 62 Bowling Green 9

The Lady Bears set a school record for fewest points allowed in a game as they dominated Bowling Green 62-9. McKendry Semer had 14 points to lead the way for Bryan 14-3 followed by Shallyn Miley with 13 and Bre Long had 10.


Ayersville 34 North Central 31

Kaylee Dockery had a game-high 20 points, including seven in the final quarter, as Ayersville (8-10) came from behind for the 34-31 win. Madison Brown had 10 points for North Central (7-8).

Wauseon 40 Anthony Wayne 23


Wauseon held the Generals to just one field goal and three points in the second half as they pulled away for the 40-23 win. Marisa Seiler had 15 points for Wauseon (11-5) and Chelsie Raabe tallied 10.

Antwerp 44 Montpelier 42

The Lady Locos led 39-31 after three quarters, but Antwerp used a 13-3 fourth quarter to rally and get a 44-42 win. The difference in the final quarter was the free throw line where Antwerp went 11/16 while the Locos were 0/4. Ariel Page had 12 points to lead Montpelier (14-2) and Emily Fritsch had 11.

Delta 46 Liberty Center 35


Brooklyn Green had five buckets and four free throws for 14 points to lead Delta (11-5, 4-1 in NWOAL) past Liberty Center 46-35 in a NWOAL make-up game. Reagan Rouleau added 13 for the Panthers.

Evergreen 56 Hilltop 44

Evergreen led 17-8 after one quarter and rolled to a 56-44 victory at home. Sydney Woodring topped the Lady Vikings (6-11) with 12 points, Jordan Lumbrezer had 11, and Morgan Foster added 11. Leanna Baker had 12 for Hilltop (9-5) and Kodi Brenner chipped in with 11.

Edon 46 Edgerton 24

Carlie Kiess had 12 for Edon (6-7) in a 46-24 non-league win at Edgerton (1-16). Dominique Fort had two field goals and two free throws for six points to lead the Edgerton scoring.

Wauseon 61 Springfield 50

Connar Penrod drained six triples and had a game-high 25 points for Wauseon (14-2) in a 61-50 win at Springfield. Jonas Tester added 22 for the Indians.

Pettisville 43 Ayersville 40

Ayersville had a 40-35 lead with 3:00 remaining before the Blackbirds closed out the game with an 8-0 run to get the win. Max Leppelmeier dropped in 23 points for Pettisville (13-2) and Cayden Jacoby had 10 points, 17 rebounds.

North Central 40 Delta 30

Zack Hayes scored 10 of his team-high 11 points in the fourth quarter as the Eagles (4-11) recovered from a scoreless second quarter to knock off Delta. Bryce Gillen hit four triples on his way to a game-high 16 points for the Panthers (0-15).

Maumee Valley Country Day 57 Edon 53

Edon (5-6) hit four three-pointers and outscored MVCD 22-11 in the fourth quarter but their rally came up short against the Hawks. Drew Gallehue followed a 33-point performance the previous night with 25 and Jack Berry had 16.

Edgerton 66 Hilltop 41

Edgerton connected on eight treys as a team to roll to a Homecoming Night win against Hilltop. Troy Wolfe had four of the triples for the Bulldogs (7-6) and finished with 16 points. Hilltop (1-15) was paced by Ian Hoffman who had four three-pointers and three two-pointers for a total of 18.

Swanton 50 Stryker 43

Josh Vance and Andrew Thornton each had 14 points for Swanton (9-7) in a 50-43 win at Stryker. Cole Mitchey was also in double figures for the Bulldogs with 12. Kaleb Holsopple led the Stryker (5-9) offense with 18 points.
