Jeffrey J. Butz, age 29, of Delta and currently Youngstown, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital after losing his short battle with cancer. He was born on April 10, 1986 to Wayne Butz, Jr. and Rose (Evans) Butz. Jeff was a 2004 graduate of Delta High School and received a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio in Psychology and Family Studies.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Rose Butz; father, Wayne Butz Jr.; fiancée, Julie Buraczewski; brother, Matt Butz (Jennifer Oaks); and his canine companion, Bradley.
Jeff was known for his compassion and eagerness to help others. He touched many throughout his life and was a constant support to those around him. His charm and love will forever live on in those who remember him.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. A funeral service for Jeff will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday also at the funeral home. Pastor Teresa Wenrick will be officiating.
