Josephine T. Suarez, age 83, of Fayette, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Heartland of Wauseon. Josephine was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 12, 1932, the daughter of Andres and Juanita (Gomez) Tovar. She married Leopoldo Trevino Suarez, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 1995.
She is survived by her children, Carlota (Pablo) Perez, Guadalupe (Ramon) Paiz, Gilbert (Norma) Suarez, Sr., Leopoldo Suarez, Jr., Juanita (Santos) Castro, Rita S. Trejo, Maria (Juan) Bueno, Blanca Suarez, Rita S. Trejo, Norita Suarez, Connie (Liborio) Ramirez, Martin T. Suarez, and Johnny (Reva) Suarez; 57 grandchildren; 96 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Augustina Conteras, Jesse Tovar, Thomas Tovar, Felipa Lopez, Yolanda Dionne and Gilbert Tovar.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Francisco Bosquez, Joe Angel Suarez, Juanito Suarez, Panchito Suarez; brother, Ernest Tovar; and great-grandchildren, Erica Lynn Suarez-Delgado and Ethan James Mumford.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at St. peter’s Catholic Church in Archbold, with the Rev. Father Stephen Stanberry, officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasantview Cemetery in Fayette. Friends may call at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Archbold on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
