Everyone’s favorite flying car comes to life in the TYA musical adaptation of the beloved family film.  Take a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas.

Based on the beloved 1968 film version of Ian Fleming’s children’s book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang TYA is one family-friendly blockbuster that audiences will find “Truly Scrumptious.”

An eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts (played by Josiah Bloomer) sets about restoring an old race car from a scrap heap with the help of his children Jeremy (played by Cooper Roth) and Jemima (played by Brielle Jamison).

They soon discover the car has magical properties including the ability to float and take flight.  Trouble occurs when the evil Baron Bomburst (played by Bradon Beck) desires the magic car for himself.

The family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious (played by Cailynn Young) and batty Grandpa Potts (played by Ethan Walz) to outwit the dastardly Baron (Bradon Beck) and Baroness (played by Ava Picket) and their villainous henchman, the Child Catcher (played by Priscilla Bloomer).

Filled with amazing stage spectacle and unforgettable songs, including the Academy Award-nominated title song, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang TYA is a high-flying fun-filled adventure for the entire family.

You can catch the show on Friday, March 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church in Ridgeville Corners (20172 County Road X).
