Joyce Marie Haynes, age 88, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:06 A.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance. Mrs. Haynes worked at the former Carbon Factory and retired from Fayette Tubular. She enjoyed baking and many of her pies were auctioned off to support the Alvodrton-Millcreek Township Fire Department. She enjoyed all kinds of cooking and taking care of her family.
Joyce was born on May 9, 1929, in Brady Township, Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of Roy F.R. and Grace M. (Stahl) Page. She married William L. Haynes on February 14, 1948, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2014.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Melody Kay (Tim) Price, of Bryan; son, Billy Joe (Lisa) Haynes, of Alvordton; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Page, of Degraff, Ohio and a special daughter, Bonnie Burnham Saneda, of West Unity. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Linda Smith, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Services will follow at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Susie Osborn officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery, West Unity.
