Kathleen Perdue, age 72, of Fayette, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
She was born on March 29, 1949, in Montpelier, OH the daughter of Ross and Frances (Miller) Ford.
She was a graduate of Montpelier High School. In October of 1969, in Juneau, AK she married Gerald Perdue and he survives.
She had been employed at Kmart, Morenci Laundry Mat, and retired from the Morenci Deli.
She was a member of Fayette Christian Church – Disciples of Christ, where she was also a Deaconess and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Kathleen enjoyed dancing, music, movies, and art – especially drawing and sculpture, and had a great love for animals.
In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is survived by her three sons, Ross S. (Victoria) Perdue, Jay Henry (Christy) Perdue, and Jerry L. (Lizza) Perdue; two daughters, Donna Marie (Ron) Green and Mary Beth Perdue; grandchildren, Marissa, Jeffrey, Makayla, Sonia, Christina, Jojo, Angel, Andrea, Reane, Heather, Jessica, Ross M., Christopher, Jonah, Haley, Noah, and Lucia; great-grandchildren, Griffin, Aiden, Ashton, Allyha, Jeffrey Jr., Jasmine, Tyler, Anthony, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Flora Perdue; and sister, Sandra Seager.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Fayette with Pastor Darren Lemmon, officiating. Burial will be held in Pleasant View Union Cemetery.
