Kenneth Biddle (1928 – 2018)

Kenneth W. Biddle, of Delta, one day after turning 90 years of age; passed away Friday morning, February 16, 2018 at Fulton manor in Wauseon.   He was born in Wauseon on February 15, 1928 to the late Ralph Biddle and Mable (Mohler) Biddle.  He was united in marriage to Sue Falor on October 22, 1949.  Ken served as a production attendant for Johns Manville in Waterville for 43 years before retiring.

He was an active member of the Delta American Legion, where he was as a past finance officer.  Along with being a Civil War enthusiast, Ken also enjoyed amateur radio with his call sign “WA8OOM”.  He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sue Biddle; son, Roger (Debbie) Biddle of Millbury, OH; daughter, Jane (Steve) Hawkins of Liberty Center; sister, Donna Luebker; brothers, William (Pauline) Biddle and James (Judy) Biddle; sister-in-law, Kay Falor; grandchildren, Thomas Wayne (Amanda) Hawkins, Kevin Biddle and Nicole (Rodney Ward) Hawkins; and great grandchildren, Gabriel and, Lucas Hawkins and Leah, Lauren and Lilly McJilton.  Ken was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Wayne Biddle in 1974 and brother, Gordon Biddle.

Friends will be received from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.  A funeral service celebrating Ken’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 21, 2018 also at the funeral home.  Pastor Teresa Wenrick will be officiating.  Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Delta American Legion.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing a show of sympathy are asked to consider contributions to the Delta American Legion, 5939 St Hwy 109, Delta, Ohio 43515 in his memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com.
