Kenneth L. Carter, age 58, of Wauseon, passed away at his home on July 20, 2024. Ken was born on November 28, 1965, to Larry and Margaret Carter.
Ken was employed at WJR Trucking in Perrysburg, Ohio. He had driven semi for over 30 years. Ken loved driving truck, spending time with spouse, family and grandchildren and his dog Boozer.
He also enjoyed having family cookouts, riding his motorcycle, four-wheeler, swimming in the pool and cracking open an ice-cold Budweiser.
Anyone who knew Ken knew he was a jokester. Ken thoroughly enjoyed being a grandpa most in life.
Surviving Kenneth are his loving wife Shawn (Smith) Carter of Wauseon; son, Jordan (Jordan) Carter of Maumee, Ohio; daughter, Tiffany (Josh Gambrell) Carter of Delta, Ohio and daughter, Ashley Carter of Napoleon, Ohio; stepson Justin Roth of Wauseon, Ohio. Grandchildren Jayse Carter, Tony Grant, Dean Grant, and Orion Gambrell, sisters, Julie (Jay) Thomas of Delta, Ohio and Melanie Carter of Delta, Ohio; brother, Roger (Mary Fonseca) Carter of Adrian, Michigan; mother-in-law Sandy Smith.
Preceding Kenneth in death were grandson Zayden Flores-McCloud; his parents Larry and Margaret Carter; grandparents Fay and Adaline Carter and Lily Rodgers and nephew Scott (Scotty) Thomas.
The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
