Kim M. Feehan, age 52, of Stryker, Ohio passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family and friends.
Kim was born August 29, 1971 in Montpelier, Ohio to Harold Richard “Dick” Feehan and Carol Ann (Andrews) Feehan. She was a 1990 graduate of Stryker High School, 2002 graduate of Northwest State Community College with an Associate’s Degree, 2005 graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Psychology from Lourdes University, and received a Master’s Degree of Social Work in 2007 from the University of Toledo.
She worked 10 years at Four County Family Center as a Mental Health Counselor for youth and adults, 5 years at Northwest State Community College as an instructor for General Psychology in the Human, Health and Development Department.
Kim also received her LSW in July 2005, received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Northwest State Community College in 2013, and was a member of the Honor Society of PHI Kappa PHI.
Kim was a lifelong member of the Eagles, loved reading, being with her dogs, diamond painting and spending time with family and friends.
Kim’s survivors include, her father, Dick Feehan and bonus mom, Jean Feehan, her aunts and uncles, Ron (Jean) Andrews, Larry Feehan, Kevin (Jeana) Feehan, and Bob (Denise) Feehan, cousins, Chris (Kristin) Andrews, and their children, Zach and Josh, Liz (Dave) Bock and their children, Ali and Lily.
Kim is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Andrews Feehan, her grandmothers, Ester Feehan and Luella Andrews, her grandfathers, Harold Feehan and Auburn Andrews.
The Feehan family gives special thanks to Kim’s care team, Dr. Shaw and his team, CHP Home Care and Hospice, her cousin Gavin for living and caring for her since her mother passed away, and her aides, Jeanette, Abby, Joyce, Kelly and Brenda.
