August 26th-AYERSVILLE: On the road, the Junior Varsity girls of North Central faced a huge challenge, and answered triumphantly.
Though winning in straight sets, both games came down to the wire. Game 1 was an epic battle, with the Lady Eagles taking the set, 26-24. The second set went much the same way, as North Central again took the game 26-24.
Kelsi Beres was 9-1 serving for the Lady Eagles, with an ace and 3 kills as well. Makayla Rizor had 4 digs, and Charlie Baker spent the evening setting things in motion for her team, making 11 assists to go along with her 2 aces.
