North Central Struggles Against Ayersville

August 28, 2014Updated:December 31, 2020No Comments1 Min Read

August 26th-Ayersville: In their first match of the season, North Central attempted to invade Ayersville’s home court. This challenge proved to be a bit too much for the Eagles, however, as they lost in straight sets to the pilots.

The Lady Eagles got off to a rocky start, dropping game 1, 6-25. Game 2 saw North Central improve, but still fall short by a score of 13-25. In the last set, Ayersville closed the match, and the Eagles lost by a 9-25 margin.

Abby Auch hit three kills for the North Central girls in the losing effort. Teammate Makayla Hayes defended the net with 3 blocks.
