Dear editor:
Northwest Ohio doesn’t need another political experiment candidate imposed on us from Washington outsiders.
Our district deserves representation from someone who lives here, understands our communities, and has a real stake in the outcome of the decisions being made.
We don’t need an outsider, someone who hasn’t lived here in over a decade, dropping in for political opportunity and expecting voters to fall in line because somewhere in a conference room in Washington, D.C., it was decided for us.
Josh Williams is different. No one in this race has worked harder, met with more local leaders, or earned more genuine grassroots support than he has.
He is a proven conservative, the hardest-working candidate, and the only one who can unify the base and win this seat. Northwest Ohio has its own challenges, priorities, and values. Those aren’t learned from briefing memos or short campaign visits.
They’re learned by living here, raising a family here, owning a home here, paying taxes here, and showing up long before an election year. Josh is the only candidate in the race who owns a home and has raised a family alongside us here. He is the only candidate with skin in the game.
I have had the opportunity to meet Josh at several events around the county. Although he is firm in his conservative values, what struck me most is his desire to listen to the concerns of his constituents and his desire to help our district.
Northwest Ohio deserves leadership that is rooted here, not imported. We should be represented by someone who knows this district because they are part of it, not because it looks good on a résumé. Please vote for Josh Williams in the May 5 primary!
