A flag was raised at the Pioneer Police Station in recognition of National Donate Life Month, bringing the community together to honor the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation.
The event also served as a remembrance of Kaleb “K-Bob” McLaughlin, whose name remains well-known throughout his community. In the years since his passing, his family has made it a priority to continue sharing his story through annual Donate Life awareness efforts.
Held each April, National Donate Life Month encourages individuals to register as donors while recognizing those who have given the gift of life.

More than 100,000 people across the country are currently waiting for life-saving transplants. Through the continued work of his family and the support of the community, Kaleb’s memory remains a meaningful part of these efforts, keeping the conversation around donation active in Pioneer.
