Lynn Jeske (1953-2018)

Lynn V. Jeske, 65 years, of Dallas, Georgia and formerly of Bryan, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in his residence. Lynn was born June 5, 1953 in Kensington, Pennsylvania, the son of Bernard and Margret (Studer) Jeske.

He was a graduate of Hartland High School in Hartland, Michigan. He continued his education at Tri-State University and Northwest State Community College attaining an associate degree in engineering. Lynn married Barbara Ann Sutton on September 26, 1983 in Bryan, Ohio and she preceded him in death on September 17, 2014.

He worked at Universal Industrial Products in Pioneer, Ohio as an engineer and in the maintenance department before his retirement. Lynn previously worked at Berlin Equipment, Busch Machine, and General Tire. He was a hard worker and dedicated to his work. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and raising his horses. Lynn especially cherished his time spent with his family.

Surviving is his daughter, Beverly E. (Alex Livingston) Randall of Dallas, Georgia; two grandsons, Kaleb M. Randall and Dylan A. Randall both of Dallas, Georgia; father, Bernard G. Jeske of Ellenton, Florida; sister, Kathryn A. Jeske of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Christopher (JoAnne) Jeske of Binghamton, New York, and brother-in-law, Edwin (Sue) Sutton of Kunkle, Ohio. Lynn was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and mother, Margaret Jeske.


Visitation for Lynn V. Jeske will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home- Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Hibbard officiating. Private interment for the family will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan.
