Marilyn Krizan (1930-2023)

February 1, 2023No Comments2 Mins Read

Marilyn Krizan, of Delta, OH, passed away at home on Saturday, January 28th, 2023.

She was born January 10th, 1930 in Toledo, a daughter of the late Norman and Bessie (Kelly) Burgin.

She worked at Globe Weis in Wauseon, the Delta Eagles where she was a lifetime member, and then at ABC Auto Auction in Perrysburg, until she retired.

Marilyn (Red or Aunt Red to many) loved long drives and good conversations- especially in the fall with her niece, Millie, where they’d travel to see the colors.

She also loved shopping, going out to eat, traveling to see family, and dancing on the weekends.

Above anything, she loved having a good time with family and friends. She never met a stranger, told it like it was, had a laugh that was contagious, and was loved by so, so many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Martin Krizan, son Timothy Gaynor, daughter Cheryl Ann Turner, and great-grandson, Martin Willis.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Curtis (Isabelle) Gaynor, daughter, Kathleen Willis, grandchildren; Jacquelynn Cook, Carisa (Jason) Pellek, Scott (Jenni) Gaynor, Justin (Susan) Willis, Sara Turner, Morgan Willis (Jesse Parsons), along with many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest with her husband, Martin, in Swan Creek Township at Raker Cemetery. A graveside ceremony will be held at 11 am on Monday February 13th, followed by a memorial celebration of her life at 11:30 at the Delta Eagles.

The family wants to thank Cari and Shenese with Ohio Living Hospice for their compassionate care of Marilyn in her time of need.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Ohio Living Hospice in her memory.
