Martha Marie Juillard, age 90, of Stryker, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center. Prior to her retirement, Martha had worked as a bank teller for 10 years at the Farmers State Bank in Stryker and then 31 years at the National City Bank in Bryan.
Martha was born on the Goll Homestead in German Township, Fulton County, Ohio on February 25, 1923, the daughter of Charles L. and Florence E. (Goll) Louys, Sr. On March 24, 1954 she married Donald L. Juillard, and he survives. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Stryker, the W.E.L.C.A. and the Altar Guild. She was also a member of the Friends of the Goll Homestead and the Bryan Area Business and Womens’ Association.
Surviving is her husband Donald and many loving and caring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Kenneth, Charles, and Walter Louys.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the First Lutheran Church in Stryker, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 A.M., with the Rev. Dane Meuschke, officiating. Interment will follow in the Goll Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be given the First Lutheran Church, the Friends of the Goll Homestead, or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
