Metamora Village Council Accepts Resignation Of Deputy Clerk

At the April 5, 2021 meeting of the Metamora Village Council it was agreed that Lyndsey Peebles will be hired to replace Trisha Gleckler who is no longer able to be the cleaning person.

Council accepted the resignation of Elizabeth Ryan as Deputy Clerk, effective April 7, 2021 and are now looking to hire a new deputy.

Trevor Shindorf spoke with council, offering his volunteer services to spread new stone on the ball parks, when the stone is provided.

Council voted to approve the March 15, 2021 minutes, payment of the bills and a resolution to purchase salt from the state.

There may be some additional COVID funds which can be used to make investments in water, sewer or broadband infrastructure. The Park Shelters are available for rent this year and three rentals have already been requested. The 2021-21 Insurance premium will be $98 less than the past year, coming in at $9257.

Council also approved Emergency Ordinance 1050 Approving supplemental appropriations for year ending December 2021. Transfers and adjustments approved first quarter of 21, and Emergency Ordinance 1051 Hire Seasonal laborer.

An Executive Session was held for personnel reasons, with no action taken, before adjourning.
