DGL Consulting Engineer’s has been hired to survey the reservoirs. This will be done within the next two to three weeks.

In new business, council moved to waive the hearing as provided by the county auditor and to accept the sum of $27,463.54 for the undivided local government fund for the 2023 budget.

The rules were then suspended by council to pass the following resolution and ordinances.

Ordinance 2022-14 to establish the local fiscal recovery fund and affirming that funds received by the village pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, shall be used only to cover costs incurred by the village consistent with the requirements of the act. Resolution 2022-15 to adopt a plan under the Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Program for new enrollment for village workers Anthony and Kyle.

Ordinance 2022-16 amending 2022 appropriations and approving 2022 transfers for the Village of Metamora during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022, 3rd quarter July through September.

Moving to the fiscal officer’s report, maintenance employees were given compliments from residents that they are doing a great job.

Council then moved to enter into executive session at 8:42 p.m. Upon council’s return from executive session at 8:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s report for September was reviewed.
