Justinian M. Williams, 19, of Ypsilanti, Michigan pleaded guilty to two counts of rape, both first degree felonies, and one count of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor, a second degree felony, in Williams County Common Pleas Court Monday, August 21.
Two additional charges of rape and one count of criminal child enticement will be dropped as part of the plea agreement. The charges result from an incident which occurred in Bryan, but which had started when Williams made contact with a juvenile via social media.
Sentencing is set for September 19. Each count of rape carries a minimum sentence of 10 years to life in prison as well as the requirement that Williams register as a Tier III sexual offender.
