Christmas music welcomed members and guests of CHWC-Montpelier Hospital Auxiliary to their annual Christmas luncheon Monday, Dec. 12th in the fellowship hall of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Montpelier.
Auxiliary members donated paper products for Helping Hands Food Pantry and signed Christmas cards for patients and staff at the Montpelier Hospital.

President Patty greeted everyone, led the opening prayer, and a Christmas carol sing-a-long was held. Armeda Sawmiller read three poems by Helen Steiner Rice about Christmas.
Roll call was answered by sharing a Christmas memory and thought for the day was “May you always have angels to walk with you on the right path” by Lailah Gifty Akita.
All who helped with the “Lighting the Way to Christmas” memorial program sponsored by the auxiliary on Sunday, Dec. 4th were thanked.
The auxiliary also spread Christmas cheer to the Montpelier Hospital staff by delivering boxes of candy for each department. Joyce Schelling was in charge of December patient favors.
The next general meeting of the auxiliary is planned Monday, Jan. 9th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Robison Room at St. Paul’s UM Church. Kelly Michael from the Williams County Historical Society will be speaker.
Roll call will be “How did you celebrate New Year’s?”. Members are encouraged to bring guests.
