(September 27th, 2014): Still yet to be beaten, the Locomotive Junior Varsity Football Team continued its hot start to the season by defeating Evergreen. The NWOAL opponent found itself outmatched by Montpelier, who won by a convincing 16 point margin.
It was the Loco offense that ruled the day, putting up an impressive 44 points against the Viking defense. Evergreen themselves were able to find the end zone four times, but those 28 points weren’t enough to keep pace with Montpelier.
The victory improves the Montpelier Junior Varsity incarnation to 4-0 on the season.
