MONTPELIER – The Montpelier Lady Locos continued to roll along with their late season success as the knock neighboring rivals North Central off track by a score of 7-3 in the May 16th affair.
Wendy Duchene started for Montpelier and was credited with the win after hurling the first three innings. Duchene allowed three runs on five hits and fanned one. Bralyn Wyrick went the distance for the Eagles allowing seven runs on 11 hits, fanned three and walked one.
Hitters for North Central included Rachel Oxender with a triple. Abbey Litzenberg, Shaylee Oyer, Sabrina Pickford and McKayla Swank all singled. The Eagles record stands at 8-15.
