Montpelier Lady Locos Drop Fayette Lady Eagles In Four Sets

BBR_4322webFAYETTE – The Montpelier Lady Locos ran their record to 3-1/0-1 after defeating Fayette on September 9, 27-29, 25-15, 25-23 and 25-11.

Hannah Blake was 32/34 attacking and 14/17 serving with 9 kills, 3 blocks, 16 assists, 15 digs and 3 aces for Montpelier. Christy Duchene went 24/29 attacking and 15/16 serving with 5 kills and 5 aces, and Jessy Duchene was 19/21 serving with 2 aces, 21 assists and 7 digs. Baylee Hageman was 22/26 attacking with 8 kills and 4 digs; Sidney Houk went 25/29 attacking, 15/18 serving and 19/20 serves received with 11 kills, 22 digs and an ace; and Marinna Mercer was 9/10 attacking and 15/18 serving with a kill, 4 digs and 3 aces. Audrey Pirtle went 6/8 attacking with 4 kills and 2 assists; Maddie Richmond was 5/9 serves received with 9 digs, and Taylor Wells was 22/24 serves received and 10/11 serving with 19 digs.

For Fayette, Taylor Hartman had 4 kills, 4 aces and 9 digs, McKenzee Schaffner had 16 assists, an ace and 14 digs, and Paige Keefer had 3 kills, an ace, 11 digs and 2 blocks. Jena Meyers had an assist and 9 digs, Jessie Wheeler hammered down 3 kills with an assist, 3 digs and a block, and Michaela Bates had 3 assists, an ace, 6 digs and a block. Ceieria Keller had 3 digs, and Kahner Galloway had 6 digs
