Hilltop Sings The Doubleheader Blues Versus Tinora & Bryan

BRYAN – The Hilltop Lady Cadets found no quarter in a mixed doubleheader against Bryan and Tinora on September 7. The Ladies in Red were swept in both matches, 23-25 and 23-25 to Tinora, 19-25 and 17-25 to Bryan.

Versus Tinora
Sydney Schmitt had an ace, 3 digs and 11 assists for Hilltop, with Brittney Mocherman adding an ace, 14 kills and 3 blocks. Emily Armbruster posted 4 digs and a kill, and Kayla Settlemire had 3 aces, a dig and 3 kills. LeAnn Joost had 4 kills and a trio of blocks, Cierra Grant posted 2 digs and 2 assists, and Kailey Creamer had 10 digs.

Versus Bryan
Sydney Schmitt had 5 assists and a kill, while Brittney Mocherman had an ace, 2 kills and 2 blocks. Emily Armbruster rang up an ace, a dig and a kill, and Kayla Settlemire had a pair of aces, a dig and a kill. LeAnn Joost had 2 kills and an assist, Cierra Grant posted 2 aces, 4 digs and a kill, and Kailey Creamer had 8 digs and an ace.
