Montpelier Lady Locos Turned Back By The Wauseon Lady Indians

WAUSEON – The Montpelier Lady Locos paid a visit to the Lady Indians of Wauseon on October 2, but found rougher resistance than they’d planned and lost in three sets, 25-23, 25-14, and 25-22.

Alyssa Reed had a monster night for the Indians, leading the team with 13 digs while also racking up 4 kills and 2 aces. Annette Stidham proved to be too much for the Locos at the net, leading the team with 10 kills and counting 2 digs. Tiffany Anderson was giving the Locos fits all night from the service line, hammering 6 aces in the contest while also counting 7 digs. Lexi Lane had 11 digs in the match as well as 1 ace while Hannah Blaylock scored 5 kills and had 1 dig. Sariah Yackee had 3 digs and Faith Hicks had 1 dig in the contest while Brooke Gerken counted 1 dig, 4 kills, and 3 blocks. Abbey Schroeder had 3 kills and 3 blocks while Sydney

Chamberlain had 4 digs, and Sydney Bosel and Kierra Fountain had 1 and 2 kills respectively.
