Montpelier Moose Legion Gives Generous Donation To Florence Township Fire Department

EdonFireDonation081915-zoom WEBMontpelier Lodge #312 Moose Legion Committee presented a $1500 donation to the Florence Township (Edon) Fire Department at their August meeting last Wednesday, Aug. 19th. The donation was made to assist in replacing equipment destroyed in a tragic fire at their fire station recently. Moose Legionnaires are shown with representatives from the fire department receiving their check—from left to rigt, Travis Creek, Phil Hallock, Gary Russel, all Moose Legion members, Jim Heller, Moose Legion chairman, Ron Green and John Chapin from Florence Twp. Fire Dept., Bob Gearig, Lodge #312 administrator, and Charlie Schelling, Moose Legion members. Funds for the donation were raised through various Moose Legion projects held during the past year. Moose Legion is the Degree of Service in the Moose fraternity.
