Students participating in Montpelier Schools’ E3 program were recognized during a senior recognition ceremony held May 22, 2026, celebrating graduates who are already employed, enrolled, or enlisted following graduation.
The event also highlighted the program’s annual mock interview competition, designed to help prepare students for future careers and college opportunities. Students were evaluated on professionalism, communication skills, resumes, and interview performance by community volunteers.
Finalists for this year’s competition included Kharleigh Kitchen, Kaida Feeney, and Kenneth Smeltzer. Following a panel interview and business lunch, Smeltzer was named the overall winner and received a $50 Amazon gift card donated by the Montpelier Academic Boosters.
Throughout the ceremony, seniors were individually recognized for their post-graduation plans, which included careers in the workforce, military service, and enrollment at colleges and universities across Ohio.
Organizers thanked volunteers, school staff, community supporters, and families for helping support the E3 program and its students throughout the year.
The ceremony concluded with congratulations to the Class of 2026 and well wishes for their future endeavors.
