EDGERTON — Never Let Go Ministries will hold its 9th annual Luncheon of Hope on Saturday, April 25, at the Edgerton Town Hall Gym, 324 N. Michigan Ave.
Doors open at 9 a.m. Lunch, provided by Subway, will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is a freewill offering at the door.
The event raises awareness in the fight against drug and alcohol addiction and honors those lost to substance-related deaths, including Marjoe Gineman.
Attendees who have lost a loved one to addiction are invited to bring a photograph for a memorial table. A Table of Recovery will also be on display, celebrating those now living in sobriety.
The day’s program will include personal testimonies, a 50/50 drawing and a Luncheon of Hope raffle. Prizes include a Michael Kors purse and card case valued at $585, a $100 Marathon gas card, a $100 meat package from Keppeler Farms, and a $100 Walmart gift card. Raffle tickets are $10 each or three for $20 and are on sale now through the day of the event. Winners need not be present.
Community resource tables will be available throughout the event, connecting attendees with addiction support organizations and information.
Table hostesses are still being recruited. A hostess fills a table of eight to 10 guests and is encouraged to decorate with a tablecloth, place settings, and a centerpiece of her choosing — whether in memory of someone lost to addiction, in honor of someone in recovery or any personal theme. Setup is Friday, April 24. Those unable to set up Friday may do so by 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Reservations are preferred by April 17 to assist with lunch planning, though walk-ins are welcome. To register, to sign up as a hostess, or for more information, call Lisa Nye at 419-212-1155 or Never Let Go Ministries at 419-212-2777. All proceeds benefit Never Let Go Ministries and its mission serving the Williams County area.
