Bill Priest introduced a new transportation system offered to Williams County residents by Quadco to the Stryker Rotary. The new service is referred to as “The Ride”. The transportation system is available to anyone who resides in Williams County, and available by appointment. They offer a point to point system that will pick the customer up at a specific location and drop off at another location. The vans used for this service are handicap accessible but the service is offered to anyone who needs transportation. [emember_protected custom_msg=”Full content protected for online subscribers. The service has been available for six months and they are beginning to get more requests. The equipment used for this new service is already being used to transport clients for Quadco, so this fills a transportation need for the county while increasing the utilization of existing equipment. Quadco was able to study systems provided by surrounding counties and pattern the system after something that was already proven. Bill spoke as a guest of Stryker Rotary Member Bruce Rosebrock.
