News & Notes From Evergreen Board Of Education Meeting

Evergreen Schools will be partnering with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department to reinstate the DARE program for the 2016-17 school year.

Four teachers were approved on an as needed basis to provide instruction during summer school. Summer school will be held for 12 days near the conclusion of the 2015-16 school year, with two teachers per day.

Hired at a rate of $27 per hour were: Tammy Nofzinger, Sharon Purdy, Karen Walker and Melanie Yoder.

Accepted $3,333 in grants ($2,500 from the Ohio DNR Archery Fund) and $833 in other donations to help purchase archery equipment for the high school physical education department.
