Anthony Burnett, Council President began the proceedings as he called the meeting to order.
Kassidy Faler is recognized for a STEM Honors Diploma. Kassidy, has participated in an internship at the local industrial systems.
Throughout the internship Kassidy worked with the engineering department. She specifically worked with the robotics department and the mechanical engineering department. Kassidy has decided to pursue a degree in Education with a minor in math.
Eric Smeltzer, the treasurer reported next, council approved the minutes from last meeting in January 2022. They approved unanimously the total general fund of $194,769.34 as well as other Funds totaling $189,354.95.
William Hanak, the school administrator reported the total enrollment for 2022 is 611. Hanak reported the total Calamity days thus far is 5, the last day being February 4, 2022. Hanak reported the recent Covid update of 64 students and 16 staff affected this year to date. The board moved into an executive session to discuss personnel.
Andrew Morr the Elementary Principal, stated that on January 28th Basketball Jones came in for the assembly.
This individual is a talented basketball player with a great message attached about being the best you can be. The recent fundraiser for the 5th and 6th grade students donated $220 to the Williams County Humane Society, as well as supplies for the animals.
The new mascot, Big E, introduced himself to the elementary students in their classrooms. The day ended with a 5th and 6th grade dance.
Dr. Marcia Rozevink, High School Principal, spoke about the Blood drive last week, the National Honor Society had a goal of 21 pints and they made 22 pints. The Jr high dance is scheduled for march 18, during the day.

The board approved the contractual agreement between North Central Schools and Transfinder for the purchase of bus routing software.
Next up, the board voted to extend contracts for four years of Eric Morland- Building and Grounds Supervisor, Andy Moor- Elementary Principal, Dr. Rozevink- Jr. High/ High School Principal, council with a vote of 5-1 against Chuck Haynes, approved contracts. Council unanimously approved Ryan Burts- Junior Class Advisor, contract.
The board approved unanimously contracts of Lindsey Eckley- van driver, Macie Wilson- volunteer softball coach, resignation of Brooke Heuerman- HS Science Instructor.
The board approved the following: NwOESC Teacher and Paraprofessional Substitute list dated January 26, 2022, membership in Ohio High School Athletic Association for Grades 7-12 2022.
Overnight trip for Baseball team, March 18-19, 2022 to Hillsboro Ohio. 8th grade reward trip to Stone Laboratory, May 13, 2022. NWOET for 2022-2023 contract for Educational Technology- total cost $6,500.00 (two-year membership).
The board then moved into an executive session to discuss personnel and employment. No action taken.
