September 2nd-BRYAN: Suburban Golf Course hosted a BBC battle between two Eagles as North Central took on Fayette on Tuesday. When the dust cleared, it was the Eagles of North Central that stood victorious with a decisive 26 stroke win, 179-205.
North Central’s David Pinc was awarded medalist status for the match, shooting a 43 on the day. Jordan Reeves was but a single stroke behind his teammate, firing a 44. Brady Zuver, in turn, was only one swing behind Reeves, offering a 45 to the team’s cause. Brock Zuver put up a 47 to complete the North Central total.
In the losing effort, Joel Smith shot a 49 for Fayette. Teammate Tharyn Colegrove scored a 50. Michael Brubaker and Justin White rounded out the Fayette score, shooting a 52 and 54, respectively.
