PIONEER – The North Central Lady Eagles were set against the Holgate Tigers and Delta Panthers in a tri-match on September 15. North Central toppled Holgate in two games, 25-7 and 25-19, but fell to Delta in two close sets, 26-24 and 25-20.
Against Delta, McKayla Swank led the team with 8 assists while Bralyn Wyrick, Shaylee Oyer, and Ashton Huffman scored 3, 2, and 1 aces respectively.
In the win against Holgate, Shaylee Oyer led the team with 8 aces, 8 kills, and 2 assists. Bralyn Wyrick had 5 kills and 3 digs along with Brittany Laney’s 3 digs, and Abbey Litzenberger drove home 3 aces of her own while McKayla Swank racked up 7 assists.
