(September 30th, 2014)-MONTPELIER: Suburban Golf Course played host to the North Central, Montpelier, and Fayette Junior High Golf Teams in a BBC Jamboree event. The Eagles of North Central claimed first place in the tri-match with a 187, while Fayette’s own Eagles finished second by a mere two strokes at 189. Montpelier took third place, shooting a 215 as a unit.
Chance Boothman of North Central and Fayette’s Noah Brinegar split medalist honors, with both players firing a 40.
It took 44 strokes for North Central’s Jay Garrett to complete the course. Teammate Lane Cogswell took 49 swings to finish, while Landon Patten turned in a score of 54 to round out the Eagle scoring.
