North Central Lady Eagles Edged In Extra Innings By Fremont

PIONEER – For the second time in just over a week the Eagles from Pioneer fell to their namesakes from Fremont, Indiana. McKayla Swank started for North Central and was charged with five runs on six hits, while walking three. Madison Messner was tagged with the loss after pitching two innings and allowing three runs on two hits, fanned two and issued three free passes to first base. Bralyn Wyrick hurled the last 2/3 of an inning enticing two batters to fly out.

Hitters for the Eagles were Sabrina Pickford with a triple and single, while Messner stroked two base hits. Abbey Litzenberg, Shaylee Oyer, Tristen Tomblin, and Wyrick collected one base hit each for North Central whose record now stands at 8-14 overall.
