PIONEER – When the ‘Thunder and Lightning’ duo of Bralyn Wyrick and Shaylee Oyer are in sync, the opposition is in for a rough four quarters…just ask the Antwerp Lady Archers.
The North Central Lady Eagles welcomed in Antwerp on December 11, and Wyrick and Oyer opened up a can of nasty on their guests. With Tiana Wheeler flying wing, the Lady Eagles turned a two-point first period lead into a 30-15 advantage at the half, en route to a 63-48 beatdown.
Wyrick posted 21 for North Central, while Oyer answered with 14 and Wheeler 11. Sabrina Pickford went off for 8 points, Hannah Siekemeyer 4, Abbey Litzenberg 3 and McKayla Swank a deuce.
