September 6th-LIBERTY CENTER: The Lady Eagles of North Central took to the road, traveling to Liberty Center for a tri-match against the Tigers and fellow travelers, the Hicksville Aces.
In the first match, North Central took on Liberty Center. The first set was an exciting one, as both sides played well. The Eagles eventually dropped the close set, however, 25-27. Game 2 wasn’t nearly as competitive, most likely due to the nature of North Central’s previous defeat. Liberty Center took the set, 25-12.
Against Hicksville, the Eagles lost in straight sets. Game 1 saw the Aces overtake North Central, 25-13. The Lady Eagles tried to come back, but just didn’t have enough momentum. They dropped the second set, 17-25.
