September 4th-PETTISVILLE: Regardless of sport, winning on the road is difficult. Having dual medalists on the same team helps quite a bit, however.
The North Central Eagles paid the Blackbirds of Pettisville a visit on Thursday, and they came ready to play. Even though they were in the Blackbirds’ nest, the Eagles were still able to come away with a convincing 59 stroke victory, 172-231.
Jordan Reeves and David Pinc both earned medalist honors at the match, with each competitor shooting a 40. Brady Zuver was only a couple strokes behind, firing a 42. Dakota Pitts completed the Eagles’ scoring effort, offering up a 50.
In the defeat, Evan King put up a respectable 44. Teammate Matt Krill added a 48, while Blackbirds Hannah Meller and Andrew Canada shot a 66 and 73, respectively.
