The Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center’s governing board has hired a new CFO/Treasurer to replace Mrs. Dorthy Pietrykowski, who has served as CFO/Treasurer of the organization for 31 years and is retiring this year at the end of June.

Mr. Homer Hendricks has accepted the position and will begin the transition to Northwest Ohio ESC this spring. Mr. Hendricks is currently the Treasurer/CFO at Hicksville Exempted Village Schools. His previous experience includes serving as Assistant Treasurer of the Lucas County ESC, Treasurer of the Fayette Local School District, and CFO/Treasurer of the Montpelier Exempted Village School District.

According to Kerri Gearhart, Superintendent of Northwest Ohio ESC, “NwOESC is very pleased to have Mr. Hendricks on board as we continue to focus on providing qualities services to area schools and other educational entities in Defiance, Fulton, Henry and Williams Counties. His fiscal expertise, experience in area districts, and network of resources will be of great value to the organization.” Mr. Hendricks resides in West Unity with his wife and family.
